Dinara Saduakasova – The Sole Leader of Grandmaster Student’s Tournament (Round 4 Report)

After the four rounds of the RSSU Cup Moscow Open 2013 only one of the tournaments has a sole leader. In the student grandmasters' competition 16-year-old Dinara Sauakasova from Kazakhstan is ahead of her opponents, with the 3.5 points score. Three other participants are one point behind. They are Anastasia Savina and Daria Pustovoitova (both from Russia) and Mongolia's Enkhtuul Altanulzii, a student of RSSU.

In the men’s tournament for student grandmasters there are three leaders. After the fourth round Burak Firat from Turkey caught up with Russia's Vladimir Belous and Yuri Eliseev. Each of them have earned 3 points. In the last day Eliseev and Belous achieved a draw against Jan Krejčí (Czech Republic) and Alexander Shimanov (Russia), respectively. Firat defeated Mikhail Mozharov (Russia).

At the Russian Cup event the number of leaders is constantly decreasing. At the moment, there are four. Rauf Mamedov (Azerbaijan), Ildar Ibragimov (USA), Pavel Ponkratov (Russia), Bashkaran Adhiban (India) won 4 point each in the men’s tournament. Evgenia Ovod, Marina Romanko, Lidia Tomnikova (all from Russia) and Lanita Stetsko (Belarus) are the best in the women's tournament with 4 points each.

There are three leaders in the veteran's tournament: Evgeny Sveshnikov (Latvia), Evgeny Dragomaretski and Anatoly Kalinin (both from Russia). Each has 4 points.

Fifth round games of the competition will take place on Wednesday, February 6th.
