Five participants fall half a point behind the leader: Evgenija Ovod and Olga Iljushina (both from Russia), Lanita Stetsko (Belarus), Nino Batsiashvili (Georgia) and Kateryna Dolzhykova (Ukraine).
Vladimir Belous (Russia) took the lead for the student grandmaster round-robin for the RSSU Cup after a victory over Yury Eliseev (Russia). He has 4 points out of 5. Alexander Shimanov (Russia) with 3.5 points holds the second place. The third and fourth places are shared by Yury Eliseev (Russia) and Birat Firat (Turkey) with 3 points each.
Dinara Saduakasova from Kazakhstan is the clear leader of student-grandmasters among women. After three victories in the beginning, followed by two draws, she has 4 points. Russian Darya Pustovoytova and Mongolia's Enkhtuul Altanulzii are one point behind the leader.
There is no sole leader in Veterans’ Cup of MCF. Five chess players have scored 4.5 points: Evgeny Sveshnikov (Latvia), Victor Turikov, Nikolai Mishuchkov, Evgeni Dragomarezkij and the Senior World Chess Champion, Galina Strutinskaya (all from Russia).
As for the MCF Amateur Cup there are three Russians: Nikita Khoroshilov and two Ivans, Uraev and Krylov, having scored 5 victories.
